enrolled in Magesongs course simply to learn something different. I am
not a composer, but needed the help of collaborators from the course. I now
have songs published with Spanish and Portuguese versions in South
America. If you write poetry, if you are a developing
songwriter wanting to get the best out of your songs, this is the

Published Songwriter
Workshop Member.
Song: Tainted Alibi.
© 2009 Carrmusic, Australia.
Testimonial:
"Thanks. I found the
workshop
interaction helpful and interesting. I was surprised that so many
people came that were not prepared to listen and to rework their
pieces. One of my pieces took 7 versions before I introduced
it to scrutiny at a workshop session and it was another 15 months
and several more rewrites until it was finally cut. Applying what is learned at the
workshop
sessions makes the writing process more rewarding and the hard
work pays off in the end. Inspiration is only the first step.
Perspiration is what makes it work "

continuously establishing contact with minor and major U.S. and U.K. record
companies, film makers and capable songwriters.
He started to be interested with music at the age of 13 when joining the
St. Patrick's Church Choir, then learned writing and performing his own
songs when in his teenage years through workshops at the French Cultural
Centre Charles Baudelaire in Mauritius, under the guidance of Claude De Vichi.
After finishing High School, he formed a pop-rock band being the lead
singer of The Misfits II, performing every night in tourist hotels such
as the St Geran in Mauritius, the Beachcomber club hotels besides doing
cabaret shows at the
Touessrok Hotel.

songwriting from hit-songwriters-author such as Jason Blume (Backstreet
Boys), artist producer Ray Doggett (Kenny Rogers) and his own music
publisher, Molian Music Publishing (ASCAP) (Stephanie Mills) while in the
USA. He also studied music publishing as taught by renowned music publisher
Tim Whitsett and researched in the music business as presented by music
attorneys William Krasilovsky and the late John Gross.

In the early 90’s he joined ‘New Testament’ a 9 piece gospel vocal group
as first tenor. Towards the late 90’s he toured with the Advent Brass
Band for 4 years and also featured on 2 songs of their album 'Spiritual
Moments'. His experience with the Advent Brass Band includes performance
at the Yarra Junction fund raising in 1996 together with Lisa McCune and

'The Wind Cries Mary' in 2008, Carlos Flores Spanish version of How To I
Paint You ‘Los Colores Del Amor’ as well as a Portuguese version ‘As
Cores Do Amor’ translated by top Jazz guitarist Antonio Valdetaro

Maitrise De Soi' for a video release on health, published by 'Edition
Vie & Sante'.
He has given a great part of his time helping songwriters and
collaborators to improve their crafts, organizing songwriting workshops,
critique meetings and songwriters camps. He has also been on the
judging panel of the Australian Teen
Idol Show at the BMW Edge, Federation Square in 2007 as well judging the
Global Battle Of The Band, at The Espy, St. Kilda (2009 Melbourne Heat).

2003). Selected tracks
from Contrast & Spiritual Moments can be heard online there.
He now teaches in various communities, and using institutions facilities such as
Chisholm Institute and RMIT in Melbourne. He has adopted a successful
method of teaching and running workshops, similar to the ones you would experience
with renowned songwriting teachers in the USA such as Scott Matthews of
San Francisco State University and Pat Pattison of Berklee College of
Music in Boston.
Dedicated for what he teaches, he has already earned a great reputation
among his students and writers working around him. His songwriting
presentation skills, worldwide music industry knowledge, his songwriting
workshops as well as his passion in helping others to succeed is
unequalled
in Australia.
