Karen Guymer

Karen is an award-winning songwriter with multiple winning awards to date.

Karen continuously works seriously at her craft, growing from writing poetry at a young age to writing a lyric that is adapted to the marketable music industry. Karen serves as a great adviser for Gentmuse and knows the difference between writing what just sounds good to listeners and writing lyrics that the music industry is currently interested in.

Karen has learned in many ways at the feet of a variety of industry music professionals such as Pat Pattison of Berklee Music School, and Steve Saskin (hit songwriter), and completed the Magesongs School of Songwriting course. A couple of her songs have had close calls being put on hold by Sony Music Nashville for 6 months though not used,  as well as considered for a few artists such as for Sara Evans (US) and Lenou Mouskouri (France).
